Recipe of Soya Chakli

Soya flour is the core ingredient of soya chakli; it is accompanied by black lentils that are skinless and split in half. The addition of soya makes the dish healthier. They are seasoned using red chili powder, cumin powder, salt, and butter.

Soya chakli Recipe
  1. Sift soya flour and urad dal flour in a bowl; add cumin powder, softened butter, and seasoned it with salt.
  2. Knead everything into a dough and leave it covered in a moist towel.
  3. Slide in the top cylinder into the bottom cylinder filled with chakli dough and start applying pressure while rotating your hand in a spiral motion, don't forget to secure the ends.
  4. Deep fry chakli in hot oil.
